Wow. Am I surprised. Usually I detest calling Xfinity for anything BUT today the call was wonderful. Annette spent almost an hour with me adjusting my $276 monthly four service bill. She saved me almost $90 and tailored my service for 5 tv’s and 2 computer systems. Additionally cut my phone bill from $109 to $19. Great job ! Keep it up.

I do not know about all of these One star rates I have been with Comcast for years in fact when they first came here and it was only COMCAST I moved once and had ATT and they service was Bad and I could not wait to go back toComcast and have been here every since. A lady said it was better when you go into the Office. I never go in as I use a walker but I have always done ok On the phone I have the bundle and one thing when ever I get bad service I write a letter to whoever I need to if I cannot get The service I also ask for a supervisor someone who can do something because the people who answer the phones cannot Do a thing until they ask their supervisor. I say be a good consumer and go to the top if you have to do that and report them do not just complain and do nothing there are bad apples Everywhere but if you do not say something to the right people They want know what their people are doing if they never get any complaints give the people above these workers a chance. I go there if I have to and I go right away. These are the people Who can get something done. My hat is off to all of them. I will Be here forever as long as they are in business.

I’ve only had two issues since I became an Xfinity customer since 2018. They handled it quickly and professionally. I now have Xfinity cable, internet, landline and now mobile. Me and my son and daughter have Xfinity mobile unlimited plan and it’s perfect!

My internet service is always reliable. Never had any issues with them. I made the mistake of switching mobile service providers to another,won't mention any names (T-mobile)! Let me tell you I deeply regret doing that! As soon as I pay my phone off I'm coming back to xfinity mobile!

After my initial sign up promotion 12 mo. was over I was able to browse on this App for new internet packages and then called to confirm that I understood the total cost per month via a phone call. The gentleman that helped me explained how the update worked and even informed me of a $10 a month savings by signing up with autopay. I find this app very useful for checking my usage and making note of my autopay date. Also the app has the ability to restart my modem if necessary from anywhere. The app can also check for any outages in your area. A useful tool as far as I am concerned.

This app is very clever in my opinion! I’ve used the “internet” section a few times to see if an outage is due to local maintenance, or if it’s just me. It automatically checks/restarts everything without the need to unplug anything at first. SO helpful!!

I have an aneurysm every time I call Comcast. Today I went into the Monroeville office, complete different world. The people in there were nice & helpful & imagine this, they were honest!!’ I will NEVER call that number again just to get my system rebooted 15 times & not be able to get a customer service rep. They call that customer service? I call it a nightmare! Thank you for your help to the guy at the Monroeville store today!!

I’ve never really had any issues with Xfinity. Also, during this pandemic they’ve been EXTREMELY understanding and helpful. I’ve never been the type to be behind on my bills but the pandemic has placed us all in a funky new pathway in life. However, I haven’t had cable in two years now and all I need is the $53 plan for my 3 year old to watch the smart tv. Thanks for everything you all have done during these troubling times!!!!!!

I have been a long time customer. With my children and grandchildren attending school and college the internet is a must. My service is a good fit for my family. I purchased only what we need, nothing extra. The customer service is great! In the store in the Fayetteville area and on the phone. I am happy they did not jack!!! the prices up on people that are using the service to give our a better chance at education from the comfort of there homes. I was a 20 year customer with Qwest/Century Link. Towards the end of that relationship, customer service was horrible as was my internet connection, and being told we had access to broadband when we actually didn’t. Since we switched to Xfinity not one problem, and love the ease of their apps and affordable plans.

Hopefully this will get to a developer. When trying to add a card for payment October is not a choice. April is on the list twice. Was able to get it added via desktop but you really need to get this resolved. Support for app issues is like going in circles.

The automatic phone service is the most annoying thing i’ve ever experienced. I have an almost 3 year old running around in the background and it’ll pick up what he’s screaming. it never understands what i’m actually saying. also on the app, it’s the same thing when you do the chat service. you’re not talking with an actual person. you have to pretty much get super annoyed and text-yell at the computer before they suggest sending you to a chat with an actual human being. i will say, the guy i spoke with using the chat service was very pleasant, and very helpful. comcast should use actual people.

Comcast phone customer service is not always bad. Today I needed to make some changes. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the equipment and current deals available. It only took a few minutes to upgrade my account and remove things we no longer needed!!!

I gave 4 stars because I feel like their rates are a bit steep and they conned me into getting home security and I’m renting their modem for 20 bucks per month, so going forward I might try to purchase my own to trim some fat. Other than that the streaming and internet has been fast, have not had any serious issues or problems

Good app shows you everything and lets you assign your device to what grip you create and manage. Only bad thing is the internet where you go stuff really bad and I can’t ever really get a good signal even when it says my bars are full standing by someone else’s modem!!! That’s not my and I have to ask them for there password to truly connect so go figure!!!

The reps after fabulous butt somehow the right hand of the company doesn't know what the left hand is doing. It takes 3 phone call too get every issue solved. That can't be customer service. Nice convenient app. Some functions should be added like being able to customize your plan entirely or remove services easily. As well as give the chat bot a list of numbers to reference to customers when requested. Could also make suggestions based upon overages, stored data and or suggest better plans to accommodate any changes Xfinity might notice.

I utterly despised Comcast years ago. I always received horrible service on the phone or in store, and back then there was no online assistance that could get you beyond the basics “no duh” stuff. But since I’ve been back with them, started back in April of this year, it has been smooth sailing all the way around. Their customer service, online assistance and the one time I requested they call me, has been top notch for the first time in history! I love the control over your service that I now have. Such as: being able to easily see who is on my WiFi and all information regarding the device. The ability to pause any device for as long as I need. Schedule when and how long any device can be connected. And just so much more! Sorry for typing up a book but I truly am impressed and what they have been upgrading over the years. I see a lot of complaints regarding customer service, so thought I’d leave this little tip. I don’t know how much of their CS is outsourced, but regardless, the support by phone is indeed horrible. I always go to one of their stores with changes to my account, and any problems. I’m pretty much stuck with them, as I live in a ‘dead zone’, and Xfinity (Comcast) is the ONLY signal that reaches us. They know they have me over the barrel. But when I go in, they ALWAYS help me whittle mybill down, remove any late fees, and find special bargains for me. The last time in, without even asking, they gave me a month at 1/2 price, and gave me an extra month to catch up on payments. I might be the only one...but Im EXTREMELY happy with them. There’s rarely more than a 10-15 minute wait, and the in person customer service is stellar. On the extremely rare occasions where I’ve had to use the phone, it’s been quite frustrating. Going in person makes ALL the difference. Hope that’s helpful to someone out there!

I’ve tried other cable/satellite companies before but I always resort going back to Comcast because they will work with me the best when I’ve ran into financial hardships or my service had a glitch. Whatever the case may be they helped. The service is absolutely fantastic. I lived in a state that we experience all four seasoned weather. So when it rains or snows unlike other companies I never lose service with Comcast like I did with satellite. The technology Comcast has within their service is amazing. The apps are so easy and user friendly in opinion and if I ever run into a tech issue it’s resolved in timely manner. Don’t get me wrong I’ve ran into some agents that were not easy to work with but I contributed that to it being the person not the company. Just like a cellphone company or a grocery store if the person working is miserable it’s portrayed in their everyday life. Anyways I know Comcast’s past reputation but I had to share that I have been at the other end of the spectrum and have had an amazing experience with this company and continue to do so. Thank you Comcast.

I added a TV and ordered an additional X1 box. I received the wrong box. On 9/11 I called and after 3 calls I finally received another box but it was the same one I had received originally. 3 phone calls and bad information later a tech came out of brought X1 box and fixed several issues. Great!!

I love xfinity. I think they try very hard, they aren’t perfect, but who is? People, say nice things about the elderly remember everyone will get old. Every time I need assistance with xfinity, they have been there for me. They are by far the best internet company around. I will add....I hope one day all their employees will be right here in the U.S. I find it difficult to understand employees outside of the U.S.

I pay well over 100.00 for a minimal amount of channels they never seem to have a good deal they always want more $$$. I’ve on numerous occasions have requested my bill in writing still waiting after several months. They are not very responsive.

I usually have no problems with the app but today it's had me login multiple times. I login and then it brings me to a screen for me to login again and then a third time. After three times I'm logged in. This is ridiculous.

They don’t take passwords no matter how many times you change the passwords. When you log in to the app, it takes the password, gives a code , then tells you the password or user ID is wrong, when it’s all really correct. I hate Comcast/Xfinity !!!!

I live in Georgia and enjoy watching Hawks games but lately when I go to the guide and it shows their game is on...it’s the Memphis Grizzly game...you can’t talk to anyone and if you do VIA some messaging platform...they have no idea what they’re doing or how to help! I love reading how they’re “committed to customer service”...what? I believe they’re more committed to frustrating their paying customers! If my wife wasn’t so interested in watching those irritating reality shows I’d cancel so fast it would make their head spin.

From initial home setup, to their apps...nothing is remotely good about this company. Automatic/remote assistance is so bad I was made to unplug the modem hundreds of times, knowing full well it wasn’t my equipment (my modem not theirs), but they wasted my time. I have tried to use the app when I have a problem but after the app scan for a problem it never find the issue I’m experiencing.Then I call for help same results. I would love to live without cable like l did in the good old days.With all the channels that I pay for I still have nothing to watch and the reception is terrible with the movies freezing and losing volume.Being retired and living in a pandemic was not in my plans for this stage of my life.Comcast get better for my money I pay each month.

This app is horrible. I set up my payments ahead of time and then they don’t go through and they keep bothering me and saying I didn’t pay. When I try to contact them and chat, there’s nowhere for me to type my response to what they’re saying. You can’t reach them on the phone. And I refuse to make another payment and end up paying twice.I know the payment was set up because I got an email back from them but evidently I don’t know. Anyway, they are horrible! Not to mention that they charge you $1 million a month

Terrible customer service. My service is always interrupted. Also they don’t carry local Miami Hurricane games. Company is a complete joke. Don’t waste your money. Lastly, the app has automated responses. You’re talking to a computer instead of a live agent. Worst experience ever. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. You’d think for $350 a month you could talk to a live agent. (I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t leave blank or give negative stars.)

The service has been great - and then - an all day outage and I just keep watching the expected time that the service will be restored move ahead one hour at a time. no way to asked where the disruption is - what caused it - or register my displeasure other than here in this review. When I called the Self-Help voice kept cutting off. Plus, Comcast still thinks I live at my old address. Finally I got a customer service rep … just horrible. She kept saying “Great, great, great” and “Awesome” over and over and over again and just way too complimentary being a “wonderful customer” eating up valuable time when she could be helping me. AcCK‼️ After three minutes of listening to her say how important I was as a customer, and “awesome” “Great, great, great” she never did help me but tried to give me to another department. I finally ended the call. I am going in person this week and stopping service. Awesome‼️👍

Ok, go to a store they’re great. Call the customer service number not so much!! First they give you the run-a-round with the automated system. They alway want to reset your systems or router regardless if you have done all that a dozen times. They keep pushing you to use the app or chat with text. Never helps. All you get is the same old script. After continuing to request to talk to a representative, the system gives up and puts you through. If you’re lucky, you get someone in the U.S. that you can hear and understand. You tell yourself, wow lucky me. Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes you get someone that can actually help, but most of the time you will have to be passed on to someone that is not just following the script. I know I expect a lot, that they are technical people that can understand what I am telling them and help. Most of the time they are not technical at all. In one day I talked to the Philippines and Jamaica. Crazy. Both of these guys just kept telling me they were the right guy for the job and how thankful they were that I was a customer. I actually told both to stop telling me what a great job they were doing and just take care of my problem. They failed and set up a service call. Very, very frustrating. I know my problem is a router setting that is keeping my WiFi printer from being seen. I just need to talk shop with a router person. Hopefully the person coming out is that person. Funny thing, 30 minutes after hanging up Comcast calls me back to tell me my system is up and running. No, I told them. System was never down just the communication from the router to the printer. Oh we need to send someone out he says. Yeah I know!!

Told me my rate would increase $7. Increased $20. Negotiated it down from 72 to 55 but they didn’t change the bill. Still charged me $72. Trying to get an agent on this app is virtually impossible. Constant outages, always forcing you to talk through bots. I can time my internet going out down to a 5 min range every single weekend. The app does nothing but say everything is fine unplug the router and it is fixed yet it’s always out for hours with no help amd no care from this crappy company.

Been a customer for 2+ years. Trying to renew service at the end of each year is a nightmare. Just want to keep everything as is. The app wanted to send me new equipment & charge shipping after informing me my existing equipment was up to date. That was followed by multiple phone calls, multiple interactions with automatic voice machines all so I could get back to the same place I started. How hard would it be to sign up one time and agree to continue as is until one of the two parties cancels?

Hands down Xfinity is the best at having the WORST customer service. Now that they have closed all the local stores your choice is their automated assistant in their app, and you can be escalated to a text chat, and if you type the winning word, you might get a live person! Don’t breath a sigh of relief at getting a live person, they never said that person would speak or comprehend your language, and even if they do, I seriously suspect they are trained to be as infuriating as possible and to do or say or mumble incomprehensibly whatever they can to frustrate you so that you give up, and disconnect the call! We received notification saying our current package allowed us to access HBO max for free, with the instructions to activate it. Just took a look at my bill and apparently Free to me doesn’t mean the same as it does to them since they’ve been charging me since July 2020!! I chatted, I texted, I got a live rep who I could not hear and then when I could, I could not understand 80% of what he said.. I never got him to understand that I did NOT add on the service as a premium channel that I only activated it because Xfinity told me I could for free... I even spoke slowly for him, and this continued for about 15 min.. , as I asked again if he understood the problem, he said “hmm, I see here that you have chosen to add on the premium HBO max and that is why you are being charged for it... As I was hanging up I spoke in my favorite foreign four letter words language to alleviate some frustration before my head exploded.. I am DEFINITELY exploring other options for TV

The folks at Comcast/Xfinity are horrendous when it comes to customer service. I have never experienced a company that makes it so difficult to speak to a human being. It’s darn near impossible. And when you do get someone, they talk you around in circles and offer little to no help towards whatever your issue is. They take full advantage of the lack of provider choices in my area and it is so frustrating. Constantly jacking up prices on sub par services, knowing they have you against the ropes due to the lack of available options. Shame on you Comcast.

If the customer is trying to get information on anything other than data usage, connected cable boxes, or billing info, the app dumps out to a website. What’s even more annoying is that the customer has to login a second, or even a third time, to get the information being sought. Hey app developers: ever hear of SSO?

If your trying to pay your bill or increase it by "purchasing" a more expensive package to access a channel that you already paid for but that Comcast suddenly decided to remove from your contracted package (without notice or explanation), this app will do provide no useful help at all. It seems they lost interest in building this app on e they'd secured it's connection to their revenue stream, as every corridor leads back to how to pay your bill or how to increase it. If you would like to know, for example when and why they have suddenly and silentlyremoved cartoon network from your line-up however, you'll not even find an acknowledgement that such a channel was ever part of your package, or that anything at all has changed in any way whatsoever, but they will take every opportunity to reiterate that if you'd like to purchase that channel that you are searching for, because suddenly and without notice, your favorite show has been moved beyond your existing package, they'd be more than happy to show you some more expensive channel packages that we've recently designed to monetize and optimize your contribution to their revenue stream. This company’s fundamental disrespect for their hostage/customers is as obvious in the design of this app as it is in their sudden, silent channel lineup changes.

They may provide Internet service, but this clearly is not an Internet company. The apps are poorly designed and of limited use. I tried to add a pod today to strengthen my coverage, but there seems to be no way to do that on either the Google or Apple apps. The instructions online are hopelessly outdated. The whole reason I am in this mess is because I couldn’t get the streaming service to work on my computer. And forget about customer service. There isn’t any! It took me half an hour just to find a way to get to a chat with a real person. When the rep said he would help he ended up actually causing my Internet to crash! Oof! This company should give up on anything that involves technology and start making cardboard boxes or something that I assume even they could do!

I live in Georgia and enjoy watching Hawks games but lately when I go to the guide and it shows their game is on...it’s the Memphis Grizzly game...you can’t talk to anyone and if you do VIA some messaging platform...they have no idea what they’re doing or how to help! I love reading how they’re “committed to customer service”...what? I believe they’re more committed to frustrating their paying customers! If my wife wasn’t so interested in watching those irritating reality shows I’d cancel so fast it would make their head spin.

From initial home setup, to their apps...nothing is remotely good about this company. Automatic/remote assistance is so bad I was made to unplug the modem hundreds of times, knowing full well it wasn’t my equipment (my modem not theirs), but they wasted my time. Then, unfortunately, here in the States, our calls are “outsourced” to inexperienced personnel...all, but 1 or 2, giving ridiculous excuses as to why service was not working properly. Comcast service is the worst. The automated system is garbage and if it can’t help you it still takes an hour to get to someone who can help. The people are nice if you can ever get to one.

I have tried to use the app when I have a problem but after the app scan for a problem it never find the issue I’m experiencing.Then I call for help same results. I would love to live without cable like l did in the good old days.With all the channels that I pay for I still have nothing to watch and the reception is terrible with the movies freezing and losing volume.Being retired and living in a pandemic was not in my plans for this stage of my life.Comcast get better for my money I pay each month.

This app is horrible. I set up my payments ahead of time and then they don’t go through and they keep bothering me and saying I didn’t pay. When I try to contact them and chat, there’s nowhere for me to type my response to what they’re saying. You can’t reach them on the phone. And I refuse to make another payment and end up paying twice.I know the payment was set up because I got an email back from them but evidently I don’t know. Anyway, they are horrible! Not to mention that they charge you $1 million a month

Cannot speak with anyone to answer questions. Waited on hold over 2 hours and was disconnected. Automated system doesn’t work any better. Very frustrating , will not be renewing my contract. I would rather be without than have poor service at a high price

Terrible customer service. My service is always interrupted. Also they don’t carry local Miami Hurricane games. Company is a complete joke. Don’t waste your money. Lastly, the app has automated responses. You’re talking to a computer instead of a live agent. Worst experience ever. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. You’d think for $350 a month you could talk to a live agent. (I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t leave blank or give negative stars.)

The virtual assistant is pretty much useless. I had a simple standard question about a credit for service interruption. It was unable to answer in any way.

The service has been great - and then - an all day outage and I just keep watching the expected time that the service will be restored move ahead one hour at a time. no way to asked where the disruption is - what caused it - or register my displeasure other than here in this review. How is it possible? I’ve never in my thirty years experienced an all day outage. Tomorrow morning I go in to the store

When I called the Self-Help voice kept cutting off. Plus, Comcast still thinks I live at my old address. Finally I got a customer service rep … just horrible. She kept saying “Great, great, great” and “Awesome” over and over and over again and just way too complimentary being a “wonderful customer” eating up valuable time when she could be helping me. AcCK‼️ After three minutes of listening to her say how important I was as a customer, and “awesome” “Great, great, great” she never did help me but tried to give me to another department. I finally ended the call. I am going in person this week and stopping service. Awesome‼️👍

Ok, go to a store they’re great. Call the customer service number not so much!! First they give you the run-a-round with the automated system. They alway want to reset your systems or router regardless if you have done all that a dozen times. They keep pushing you to use the app or chat with text. Never helps. All you get is the same old script. After continuing to request to talk to a representative, the system gives up and puts you through. If you’re lucky, you get someone in the U.S. that you can hear and understand. You tell yourself, wow lucky me. Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes you get someone that can actually help, but most of the time you will have to be passed on to someone that is not just following the script. I know I expect a lot, that they are technical people that can understand what I am telling them and help. Most of the time they are not technical at all. In one day I talked to the Philippines and Jamaica. Crazy. Both of these guys just kept telling me they were the right guy for the job and how thankful they were that I was a customer. I actually told both to stop telling me what a great job they were doing and just take care of my problem. They failed and set up a service call. Very, very frustrating. I know my problem is a router setting that is keeping my WiFi printer from being seen. I just need to talk shop with a router person. Hopefully the person coming out is that person. Funny thing, 30 minutes after hanging up Comcast calls me back to tell me my system is up and running. No, I told them. System was never down just the communication from the router to the printer. Oh we need to send someone out he says. Yeah I know!!

I’m trying to set up a new receiver and the app says there’s a tv outage and the other boxes in my home are working fine and xfinity won’t let me speak to a technician because of the outage, it does not make sense

While trying to chat with “customer service” on the app it’s says there’s an outage and needs to be fixed first? But it’s the outage that I need to chat about. Xfinity came yesterday and cut our lines and left. No cable, no internet. We work from home so it costs us tons of money!

Not worth the money you pay. They take channels away without you knowing. All you do is watch reruns. If you can find something cheaper go for it. I know this is an app but people should know and everything is streaming extra money.

I have tried to use this app many times. The “agents” are texting with multiple customers at once, their responses are generic to the point of useless, and the only function that works is paying Comcast $$$ (go figure). If you have any other option, take it.

I never want to deal with Comcast ~xfinity customer service. They are a Conglomeration and the price that is charged;one shouldn’t have to buy any movie or tv show. The app is awful also. Told me my rate would increase $7. Increased $20. Negotiated it down from 72 to 55 but they didn’t change the bill. Still charged me $72. Trying to get an agent on this app is virtually impossible. You get stuck in a loop of nonsense. What’s your issue. Is it this account? What do you want to do? Manage my account? What’s your issue? Is it this account? Absolutely useless app. Useless overpriced company.

This app just cycles and cycles and cycles. Their website does the same thing it cannot connect or change pages without constant cycling. They have no hotspots in have the areas I go to so my phone burns through data like it’s nothing.

I went into the app because one of the chat agents in India pushed it during the interminable wait to get info on unlimited data. Of course the application doesn’t offer that. Very basic. Restart your modem. How much of my cap have I used. Mostly useless.

Constant outages, always forcing you to talk through bots. I can time my internet going out down to a 5 min range every single weekend. The app does nothing but say everything is fine unplug the router and it is fixed yet it’s always out for hours with no help amd no care from this crappy company.

Update 4/24/2021 - So they don’t consider .6 mbps an outage, but I pay for 100 mbps, they also might as well fire everyone on the phones & put up a recording that says... “it’s not us, it’s you, we can send a tech to you, but it will always be diagnosed is something that will cost you money, not us, and they will not fix the problem, but you will be charged, so you’re wasting your time, you might as well hang up” “we are never wrong even if you claim you have no Internet, it will never be our fault, even when our tech is caught on film cutting your contention on the side of your house & shoving in back in the box, so you don’t know until you watch the security footage! So save yourself some time & fix it yourself.
